I learned at a young age that I can help people believe in their physical abilities by teaching corrective exercise and I knew opening up my own place would allow me the ability to focus my craft while being able to have a more hands-on approach with my clients. Fitness journeys are just like any journey in our daily lives in that they have ups and downs, mountains and plateaus, but if you have a close-knit community by your side, you’re much more likely to succeed.

Fitness isn’t just important to me, it’s a lifestyle choice. No one doubts the medical benefits of healthy eating and exercise on a consistent basis or the physical aesthetics that can come from the same. But my focus with both my clients and myself has always been on how fitness can improve the whole person, mind and body, as I believe they’re all interconnected.

Corbin Booker

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Corbin is a Strength and Conditioning Coach coming to us from New York. As a lifelong athlete, he always believes in making movement fun, engaging and exciting. Corbin specializes in weight loss, muscle development, and sport-specific training for athletes of all levels. He hopes to continue helping the community by bringing out everyone’s inner athlete and getting them to tap into their maximum movement potential.

Corbin teaches private & semi private training sessions, virtual training, as well as leading evening classes at Definition of Fitness (Monday/Tuesday @ 7pm, Saturday @ 10am).

Hi my name is Katie! I’m an energetic and driven strength trainer from Indiana. My midwest values and personality come alive in the gym. I am passionate about helping men and women achieve their goals through exercise and balance in life. With my background in social services, I have a holistic approach to personal training, I understand our physical goals can only be achieved through balance and discipline in all areas of life. I love helping people reach their true potential and become their strongest selves. I’m currently offering private, semi private and virtual training sessions.

Fatima Kamara

Personal Trainer

Fatima is a certified personal trainer (in-person/virtual) from the DMV area. Her degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science started her career as a part-time trainer in 2018, then going full time in 2022. Fatima focuses on all aspects of fitness: weight loss, strength and conditioning, olympic lifts, weight gain, and most importantly guiding through proper form. She looks to expand her love for fitness to others via 1-1 training, partner training, semi-private classes, and group classes.

Although she trains both men and women, her focus is to create a space where females feel comfortable weightlifting and gain confidence within themselves. Fatima looks forward to pushing clients to their highest potential, physically, and finding new ways of living healthier.
